and alone with a bucket of chicken and a romantic comedy rental. I began to reach for my hidden stash of dark chocolate cause, well come on… who want to wear an old dress that has a memory of a bad date. I saw this paper bag. I pulled it close and inside was a box wrapped in pink paper with violet ribbon. What is this I thought to myself.. There was a note attached …..”Don’t open this unless it’s an extreme emergency” Then I clued in “Oh my God Vicky!” I quickly tore off the bow ripped open the box. Five minutes before my date was picking me up……I’d say it was an emergency! And oh my god, it was the most beautiful green dress I’d ever seen! Not to mention the lovely matching under garments stashed under the tissue paper….That Vicky…. always thinking!!!!

As I stood there admiring the dress my door buzzer rang and my heart skipped a beat! I sprayed my favourite perfume on hypnÔse by Lancôme, put my favourite gold earrings on and out the door I went….My stomach wouldn’t stop fluttering….And then I saw him……Oh and he looked good!

He looked better than the first time I saw him…..almost made me weak at the knees…He was dressed in this fine black suit with a sweet sparkle in his eyes, talk about dangerous! But, I couldn’t resist, I was so drawn! He took my hand and kissed it gently and whispered “It’s nice to see you again Terrie, you look absolutely divine!”….I couldn’t stop blushing. Why, why do they say all the right words…..why? I was really trying hard not to fall to fast…After all the last time I’d been out on a date was before we could wear pants as a flight attendant, at least it seemed that long.. After a deep breathe I said “Thank you” and he lead me to his car. Where are we going I asked; “It’s a surprise he said….with a big grin on his face. I didn’t know whether to be scared or excited. But I tell you one thing I sure was intrigued!! He took me to this great little cozy Belgium restaurant. It was so romantic! It was as if they brought a clear starry night into the restaurant and placed it above us!. I felt like I was experiencing a little bit of Vicky’s world. We sat there sipping on Dona Paula Melbac wine and trying each others dishes. Way better then a bucket of chicken! After sharing a piece of Crème Brule arm in arm we headed back to my apartment. My head began to race as fast as my heart. All I could think of was if he was going to come up? Was I ready for that? Did I want him to come up?? Who am I kidding of course I wanted him to but, I thought I’m not going to ask him, cause that wouldn’t being playing my cards right…? We pulled up in front of my apartment and sat there gazing at each other waiting for one of us to speak. As I slipped off my seat belt I thanked him for a fabulous time. He just looked at me with a big smile on his face, got out of the car, walked around and opened my door; gotta say I was a little taken by his actions! Then he took my hand pulled me close and reached for my lips. I couldn’t feel my legs, it was so good. After, he said “I had a great time, We’ll do it again soon…sweet dreams.” and with a kiss on the hand he drove away. Leaving me with butterflies in my stomach and postively aching for more……
